Calling the west coast the "Left Coast" is not political.  Geographically we are on the left as the east coast is on the right.

The term "back east" to me was going to San Bernardino/Riverside LMAO.

Anything east of Las Vegas was considered east coast to me LMAO.

I do this a lot in teaching - change the frame of reference & see things from a different angle.

I think the South Pole got jealous when the North Pole lured Santa Claus's headquarters, training center for flying reindeer, manufacturing and distribution plant there with very generous tax breaks and subsidies.
