I really think we should start making it a requirement for show threads for the date to atleast be put in the OP if it’s not in the title along with the info Karuna just posted. I agree and I think I have put dates and venues in show threads I’ve started over the years though with Broken Arrow, I think folks have had July 18th on their mind since the tour was announced. The first meeting of the top 4 of last year which will in all likelihood will be the top 4 this year. I will say, I do like the clever names for the threads that have been used this year. I’m not advocating for removing the clever show thread titles, I just don’t think there’s harm in adding a little bit of standardization to these show threads to make them more useful for people who don’t live and breathe drum corps every day. For example, we could keep the clever show thread titles, but then require the host city (if not already mentioned in the clever show title) to be placed in parentheses followed by the date of the show. Phantom went from an 83.250 on 7/14 to an 83.900 on 7/17, a modest increase of .650 in 3 days. You've got them jumping 1.2 points in a 24 hour period? While all other comps have seen pretty decent score increases this week, PR, BS and Colts comps have hardly had any movement in scores. It's been befuddling!
