I think in 83 Bridgemen won drums & placed 10th. Their brass was something like 18th

2nd in drums in 83

the fun in that recap is the sub boxes...lots of movement there. truly the tabulator called the show. but seeing BD with a few 3's in sub boxes means thats its still july.

@spacewill @MandarinMom @DAYGO @Metalbinky @Jnecker

I just want to salute our kids and say how proud I am of all the performers who absolutely killed it today!

Never in a million years did I think I would be a DCI Dad, but seeing my boy out there tonight, giving it his very best and bringing 14,000 to their feet, I wouldn't trade this feeling I have right now for anything.

I hope all of you are just as proud as I am.

There’s simply nothing like it. I sat in LOS on opening day 2017 and bawled like a little girl when my son stepped off in “Men Are From Mars”. And did the same when he pulled his baton down on the last note of “Live From The Rose” in 2021.

And more shows I’d like to admit in between.

That is freaking awesome! How I am going to hold it together next month in Indy is beyond me lol

Crusaders have a chance to make it interesting as far as running up on BD. Everyone else is out of luck in that regard. Bluecoats success in the last few years is in no small part due to their percussion scores, and that's lagging quite a bit this year. Ditto  Crown with their brass numbers, and the fact their drumline just ain't it.

Bluecoats were 4th in drums here last year, lots of season left.  And they’re a placement higher with a 1st in guard.

Holy crap that is insanely beautiful. I probably watched that foot drag sequence 4 times. I love this song. Always have.
