    They haven't even held a rehearsal yet. Or even announced a date for one. The parent organization, as far as I can tell, has only ever operated a small winterguard that has never made a trip to WGI finals. Maybe we pump the brakes on the World Class speculation for a bit

    In world class, Surf and Cascades also didn't come out to Indy that year, and same with a lot of open class corps. And those that were in Indy didn't get scores or placements besides Fan Favorite

    For this year, competing in the All-Age class is dependent on DCA membership, and DCA does have an explicit rule that member corps cannot compete as a junior corps in the same season (section 1.2 rule 1 of the DCA regulations, at least the most recent version I have). I don't have access to the DCI rulebook, but I know there's a multi-year approval process to move out of Soundsport into either Open or All-Age class, it's not something a corps can decide in the middle of a season, or on a whim for a specific show (see this recent article about corps beginning the process now for 2025)

    It looks like it is manually controlled, at least for now. In the high cam from San Antonio you can see members going over to the prop each time it turns on or off

    Prelims has been in the evening since my first championships weekend in 2005 (except 2014). 07 and 08 both started at 2pm according to some old dcp posts I dug up
