Your posts are never humorous -- they're just straight digs at Crown. My "digs" as you put it are never aimed at the corps. Crown has a good drum corps but other than a very loud horn line and drill moves copied from the Cadets, there really is not much substance there. Cadets will deserve to beat Crown (even with the narration) but will not because they have been slotted. Crown 08 is by no means a legendary show. Have Drum Corps fans become that dummed down? They had a very loud brass line, that's about it. Easy now, don't you know from the title of this thread that everyone loves Crown! Epic awsome? Crown has a good drum corps...epic awsome? not even close Looks like the slotting is happening early this year. Crown has a very good corps but it really makes one wonder how they could possibly pull their highest score of the season given the conditions they have been under with the sick members. Maybe Cadets should back off the intense practice schedule since it is not helping their slotting. Oh I'm sorry, I meant to say scores not slotting Relax, it's his opinion...there are actually those that don't like Crown Sounds like Crown has the championship wrapped up this year. All other corps should just save all the money, time, and effort and just concede the win to Crown. Corpsgasm Posted June 14, 2012 Share Posted June 14, 2012 A friend of mine gave me audio recordings from GW a few nights back and let me tell you...Carolina Crown sounds the best that I've ever heard an early season Corps. Not only that, but the show music is EXTREMELY tough. The amount of technical proficiency on the move is amazing for this early. I don't know how clean they are or even any visual information at this time, BUT I am here to say I think Carolina Crown will win the Brass title again this year without a doubt.
