theyremovingit
I could feel a rotating company front coming on from the Scouts. I wouldn't be surprised if they add one in later in the season. It would really make that ending rock even more.
jjeffeory
So . . . . Has anyone been encouraged to now purchase a subscription? Not me, but I saw someone else who was encouraged. I appreciate getting a view of Troopers and Scouts though!
BlueStainGlass
So . . . . Has anyone been encouraged to now purchase a subscription? Still glitches, still froze, and no VOD makes me not want it.
C.Holland
Honest opinion. The feed was suspect. In an age where many corps are struggling to hold onto an identity, I'm glad that DCI showed two who have stayed relatively true to their roots. I'll spare comments about feet, dirt, etc... its too early to bother. That being said, I love the first half of Troops show. It gave me a tear type of great that I've not seen from them in a looooonnnng time. The second half needs some work and some love. it'll get there, but its got a great base. They horns have a great sound and the corps overall looks pretty solid. I like the second half of Madison's show more than the first half. So from the ballad out, I love it. The first half doesn't feel like it gels yet. But I'm sure there is going to be work done on this, it'll be ok. Overall though, the horns have some oomph to them, the booms are kicking, and the guard is busy. And musically I think the show is a good book, visually... I think they'll change bunches of it. For once I feel that lots of foot movement during park and blows is warranted. (guess that's what happens when you associate a show with a dancer) For DCI, I think this was one of the best marketing things they've ever done. Why haven't they done something like this before? Kamarag
Still glitches, still froze, and no VOD makes me not want it. Given the overwhelming number of folks in here that didn't report those issues, it's likely a problem on your end. It's certainly worth exploring. KenDrum
I was able to re watch the shows as long as I didn't close the browser window. Just dragged back the time bar.
27Socal
replay is still up. ok, that's the trick, don't close the browser. smoother the 2nd time around, probably because of the caching. Edited June 16, 2015 by 27Socal

Ghost
Thank you DCI for a free show.
2muchcoffeeman
You all know my bias, so adjust your set accordingly, but I'm very encouraged by the direction of the Troopers. They keep raising their own bar, and it is obvious to all with eyes and ears that the music and the drill continues to ratchet up the demand from year to year. Troopers intend to earn their way up the ladder. That closer has the potential to land a knockout punch. Sound quality on the ballad tonight was horrible, so I couldn't get a good emotional read on it. But all in all, a solid first step to the season.
