The other corps not listed will perform tomorrow evening in Winston-Salem due to the lack of space available to host all 23 World Class corps (plus a DCA corps and three SoundSport units) at a high school campus. My guess is that those corps voluntarily chose to perform a day later.
CrownBariDad
This was posted on a SOA Family page. More info if you are going to the show: The band director from McEachern (And a Spirit alum!) posted this yesterday. Good, honest helpful info for anyone heading to the SE Championships today in Powder Springs. Thanks for being great hosts, Bo Sodders. DCI Atlanta Friends! Some fun facts for you... 1. Parking on campus will fill up quickly - arrive early if you want priority parking. $10.00 on MHS Campus 2. Additional parking is available off campus (McEachern Methodist and Trinity Chapel). We will have a shuttle bus to/from this parking location. 3. Do not park in the neighborhood across the street from Cantrell Stadium. They love to tow cars. 4. Concessions will be available - please visit us and support the McEachern Band Program! 5. Back sideline/end-zone tickets (general admission) will be for sale at the regional. 6. It's only 84 degrees tomorrow! Only 12 degrees warmer than the dome - you're welcome! 7. Please don't complain to our McEachern student volunteers (ages 14-17 - they're kids) or any McEachern parent volunteers. We will try our best to accomdate you. We are hosts, not Drum Corps International. 8. "The Lot" is over the river and through the woods (...literally). Don't get lost 9. Coolers, Drinks, and outside food will not be permitted in the stadium. 10. School Buses/Group Buses will drop patrons at the West Entrance off of Gaydon Road. These buses will directed to off-sight parking. 11. Have I mentioned arriving early? If you're epically late - consider taking a Uber 12. Blue Knights will be rehearsing at McEachern all day! We will clear the stadium after their run through for gates to open.
xandandl
Though this show has Spirit's stamp of endorsement, it will feel like a home show for Phantom Regiment. Many, many alums and phans are Georgia natives or schooled there. Will Pitts, Dean Patterson, David Warren, Koji Mori, Alex (asst. DM with Dean and Dave) are all Peach Staters. Hence the internal brass bus joke, "Georgia, It's the Pitts." Have a great run, Cuz. Edited July 29, 2017 by xandandl

Its a great and extensive lineup tonite at this show however, nonetheless. Edited July 29, 2017 by BRASSO
