First time talking to poppycock?

Yes.  I pop in here occasionally.  It's all good.

I hated electronics from the day they were introduced until Bluecoats made me a convert in 2014 with "Tilt".  I've hated the use of tarps from the first time I saw them used.  That changed about 15 minutes ago.  SCV's visual design now makes a heck of a lot more sense with the tarps added.

I feel so weird saying this, but here it goes:

SCV's show (or at least their visual design) is better with the tarps.

Otherwise, music design is still solid as always, although the battery-heavy transition into the ballad loses me every. Single. Time. And I can't quite place why.

That is a good band. Ours (Clemson) has come a long way in a few years. Our band staff I think will be in Indy again this year but I'm not sure if we have anybody marching World Class.

The Clemson band has a lot to learn still. Maybe if they had a music major ... hmm. They have so much potential with the caliber of students they get, problem is they don’t teach

Didn’t the OSU band do a walking man drill a couple of years ago? Maybe BAC saw that show.

I was tickled to see a BOA band (Marian Catholic) do some drill in this mode in their 2015 show playing Petruchka.

I’m not surprised, there were some staging things I was hmm about without them (two guard members out in the middle of somewhere or something like that) and boom now there is a tarp there.
