It was the corps.

Yah, they're holding back the volume on the brass right now it seems.  Which might be wise as they have intonation and balance things to work out.

The Wife stepped in to watch the closer.  I asked her who was on the field.  She replied -- Bluecoats?  Nope.  Phantom?  Nope.  I said Crossmen.  She said -- Shakos???  That's just wrong!

Young ambitious design staff. Hopefully for the sake of those clearly talented kids, the staff eases of the accelerator and take a moment to breathe. That show toned down would be great

The Blue Stars are the biggest unknown going into tonight’s show. I have seen no video. They keep everything pretty quiet leading up to the first show. Through friends I have heard the brass is exceptional.

Blue Stars have always has a really nice full sound top to bottom for the past several years.  It's gotten better and better each year, so I'm hoping!

Crossmen … dirt city. Cover … bad … dress … bad … horns … not together … 16 tubas … sounded like 8.

Can you at least name one thing musically or visually they did well maybe?
