In theory, I'm with you.

In reality, if he keeps this up (i.e., very publicly going to shows and posting about it), do you see her career progressing? I'm not suggesting that she will or should be removed from her post as a tech, but I could absolutely see a corps passing on her as a caption manager or designer (assuming she's talented enough to compete for such a position) because of him not going away quietly.

If I were hiring her her lineage means nothing. I’m told from knowledgeable folks he was not near her corps at San Antonio despite what have been implied or assumed from his posts.

One positive thing I think we should be clear about is ‘Good on DCI for sending the letter’.

I suspect other things are going on we can’t see

I’m going to put my ‘retired military’ hat on and note we seem to be stuck in a ooda-loop with the forces of good on one side against the forces of evil.  We as good guys need to ensure our ooda-loop is faster than theirs

if you don’t know what an ooda- loop is I suggest you google it.  Useful in many life situations

One thing that could happen right now is leadership for whatever Corps his daughter teaches at goes to her & says ‘tell your dad to stop attending DCI events or we will reassign you to food truck (not dissing food truck workers) or fire you or whatever’

She should not be made in any way responsible for her father's acts. Period.

Noted, but I think the Meehans, Martin's, and Bonfiglios, among others, of the world suggest a different reality.

Regardless of his current antics, if she gave him her pass to get into shows (purely a speculative scenario but based on real possibility), she may be limiting her career on her own.

I'm not a lawyer.

But I am a Land Surveyor.

I have to deal with "trespass" all the time.

In fact ,NJ has a statute allowing a Land Surveyor to trespass.

As far as I know, trespass is defined as "entry to a person's land or property without their permission".

How could that apply to property DCI doesn't own ?

DCI is leasing property, so those rights are transferred to them while they're in control of the property?

the question is, who is operating the facility. IN Indy the operators are still LoS and the stadium authority. DCI should be working with security to keep unsavory people out of the venue. I have never seen the ticket takers actually look at a list of disallowed persons when admitting people.
