It could be 2011, where Devils managed to scrape over whoever's revving up on them but the momentum is clearly in that direction. It could be 2008, where Devils drop Friday night out of nowhere and it sets up a week of excitement. Or it's 2017, where Atlanta/NightBEAT is as close as the next competitor would get all year. Head is saying 2017. But 2008 would be interesting. If for no other reason than the fan favorite that won it all wasn't who won on Friday night. In this scenario I've concocted I think Crown is playing the role of 2008 Phantom to Boston's 2008 Cavaliers. Could be interesting, to say the least.
