I do wish the horn writing and ensemble balance was a bit different, it's just too layered and leads to a thinner sounding hornline. It's always bass goo heavy for me, but I felt like the 3 music units were all pretty much perfectly balanced tonight. gave me a new understanding of all of the shows, really. saturday is going to be amazing. wow.
