jmc5682 Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 This is a pretty accurate assessment. BD has the DCI system down to a science and beating them now is pretty much a lucky break. Cappybara Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Two GE Judges; 1 has Cadets in 2nd with an 18.0; the other has the Cadets in 5th with an 18.4. Almost every organization that depends on someone's talents to adjudicate something, there is a system to review their choices (balls and strikes/penalties/fouls/etc). Does DCI do this with their judges because it doesn't seem this would be possible between two competent judges? Funny how so many people cry foul over slotting and then as soon as one judge breaks the mold, people point fingers at the judge and call them incompetent. A very inconsistent ranking by GE judge 2 compared with all the history of the season and even just this week. Quite inconsistent to EVERYONE ELSE - so it is what it is And I'd love it if you would stop with the snarky posts aimed at me. And good for Kennedy for calling the show the way he saw it, instead of mailing in a photocopy of everyone else's numbers. We'll probably see him on GE2 or Music Analysis during championships. Devils are the undisputed champions of park and blow and jog around without playing (both are a little too frequent for my taste). When they park and bark, they sound awesome....when they play at any kind of decent clip.....not so much. ohwiseone Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Finals week is going to be a fight. However I don't see anyone catching BD, but the coats and cadets spread is interesting. I mean a lot can happen in two weeks. But to say that bloo won't be fighting for a medal come finals is a bit much. I just think it's BDs year, which is fine.
