Mid(ish) Season Update

01> Blue Devils

02> Bluecoats

03> Carolina Crown

04> Santa Clara Vanguard

05> Cadets

06> Cavaliers

07> Madison Scouts

08> Phantom Regiment

09> Blue Knights

10> Blue Stars

11> Crossmen

12> Boston Crusaders

13> Academy

Personally I would like to see a couple of changes (the two Blues at the top flipped, and Academy slipping into the number twelve slot) but this seems perfectly reasonable given what we know so far.

Great minds think alike. I would love for SCV or Bluecoats to win, and I would love for Academy to make finals. I just think BD will be 1, 2 or 3 in all sub-captions, if not only 1 and 2. Makes them nearly impossible to beat, considering Crown will like place lower than 4th in percussion, SCV's much improved brassline may place lower than 4th, and Bluecoats have yet to win one caption at finals. Cadets, to me, are the biggest wildcard. They can win brass and percussion, but I think they will likely be 4th or lower in guard.

I think, in the end, Bluecoats win the Gold, by virtue of Cadets winning percussion. Ironic, as I suspect Cadets will finish at best fourth. BC will win GE.

A lot of people do, I happen to be in the minority that thinks the three-peat is going to happen

You and I are seeing eye to eye. Of course the regional will sort this out a bit more. BD may sweep. Have Coats ever beaten BD? Coats have never won a caption.

At this point Cadets are such a wild card... they could literally win or challenge or finish 5th.

Boston not going to happen. To many midwest corps in finals.

Coats beat BD in quarterfinals last year (only because BD got a penalty) and at their hone show in 2007. I think that's the only time they beat BD without a penalty assist, but I could be wrong.
