Scores tonight will be used along with San Antonio, Atlanta/Nightbeat, as one of the three averaged scores for performance order on Thursday. Popular Post Precious Roy Posted August 5, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted August 5, 2023 I just ran the numbers from San Antonio, Atlanta, NightBEAT, and first night of Allentown, through the spreadsheet: Blue Devils haven't quite locked up the #1 seed for prelims. But, Boston would need to score a 99.1 tonight to get that #1 seed. Crown and 'Coats (and everyone else, for that matter) are mathematically eliminated from getting the #1 seed. If either (or both) Crown or Boston score higher than Bluecoats did last night, then either (or both) would get seeded higher than Bluecoats. The order of placement among Phantom, Cadets, and Mandarins tonight essentially determines their relative placement for prelims. And as long as each of them score at least the mid-88's, they will stay ahead of Cavaliers. As long as Colts score in the 80s, they'll stay ahead of Blue Knights for 11th. They (the Colts) would need an 88.6 to move ahead of the Troopers for 10th. Crossmen need an 86 to move ahead of Pacific Crest for 13th. Madison needs an 82.0 to move ahead of Academy. Spirit needs an 82.85 to move ahead of Academy. Their show has grown on me a lot. At first I just didn’t get it. It was bright and fun in spots, but didn’t get it. After actually reading the poem and understanding the common interpretations, my appreciation for their artistic and eccentric approach is increasing. BD is…well…BD. Their show is executed at a high level as always. Nothing about it jumps off the field except for the star formation and the guard is just wow. CG caption head pulled a Ron Swanson…”give me all of the rifles and sabres you have. I'm afraid what you just heard was 'give me a lot of rifles and sabres.' What I actually said was, 'give me all the rifles and sabres that you have.' Do you understand?" I am just loving the Troopers. That is all. Cavies are surging. Best front ensemble in DCI. Battery is rocking. Marching like the Cavies old. Excited for the future for them.
