From the brass voicing, leading the percussion with the drum set,and long hair in the female color guard. They play and drum well but they do nothing for me. This show is fine. I liked last year because I love Sondheim, but how do they win year after year when other corps come up with mind blowing concepts and play and drum just as well. Same design concepts? If you can tell me the similarities between the ideas of "Constantly Risking Absurdity", "1930", "Through a Glass Darkly", "The Beat my Heart Skipped", "Cabaret Voltaire", "Re:Rite of Spring", "Felliniesque", "Ink", and "As Dreams are Made On", I'll be impressed.
