Sure, yes, all of that HOLY NAME stuff is amazing, but it doesn't mean much of anything outside the corps. You don't see the Bluecoats build shows around SIX WORDS. Identity can be shown a zillion ways...the cavaliers don't look like the Cavaliers of Don Warren, or Brubaker or even Gaines, but you can still tell it's the cavaliers just in how they do and present things. and last year, Cadets did kinda build a show around For Holy Name Shall Always Be. But yes, identity has seemed to have strangled 4 corps...Cadets, Madison, Phantom and Troopers. If there was ever a show about those 6 words, from start to finish, it was that show. We've tried to do shows about ourselves (notably the 2010 debacle) before. 2018 also wasn't the best.
