Cadevilina Crown Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 Uniform: a special kind of clothing that is worn by all the members of a group or organization (such as an army or team) Costume: clothes that are worn by someone (such as an actor) who is trying to look like a different person or thing They wear uniforms. Which can also be called costumes. Just like decades ago when corps would wear costumes that emulated the uniforms of military organizations. Does that mean they wear costuniforms? TroopAlum12 Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 Most uniforms now seem to be on a two-to-three year rotation. Even with crown, they still keep the same jackets/shakos, but can change the accent/plume/pants colors to fit the show. Troopers has been doing three/four-year rotations since the 2007 reboot. BD does kind of the same thing as crown. SCV is getting into it as well. TL;DR: Same base uniform, different accents and accessories to fit the theme.
