He knows what he did and knows it is wrong, but is claiming innocence in order to avoid punishment. 2. He knows what he did but doesn’t think it was wrong. 3. He is in complete denial and doesn’t think he did anything to begin with. 4. He lacks the capacity to care about anyone else or anything other than what he wants, and thus doesn’t really understand what wrongness is other than something to avoid the appearance of to others who do. 5.
